Sustainable changes in behaviours and performance at work

Small tweaks in your behaviour through better self-awareness can lead to real change and have a significant impact on yourself and others.

Welcome to Kilpatrick Executive Coaching

I am an experienced executive coach accredited at Master Coach level and have been working
as an executive coach with senior leaders in organisations, and with organisational stakeholders who oversee coaching, since I started my coaching training in 2006. I particularly enjoy organisational coaching and I partner closely with a select number of organisations where I have built trusted relationships and for whom I have coached several individuals over the years.

My particular interest and specialism is leadership transition and working with confidence at this transition point, the subject of my doctoral thesis in 2022. I am also an accredited coaching supervisor and am passionate about supporting the development of coaches.

What is important to me

Professionalism & integrity

I work to the highest of standards and adhere closely to, and am bound by, the Global Code of Ethics, Association for Coaching.

Psychological depth

I am a psychologically informed coach, having studied a Masters and Doctorate in coaching. I am not a qualified psychologist by degree but I use my understanding and training to help people to understand themselves and others around them better in order to make significant and longstanding changes to the way they behave

Heart in hands Icon

Empathy and trust

Clients say that I build rapid rapport and empathy and that I make clients (organisation and individuals within) quickly feel understood and supported. Confidentiality is vitally important and I ensure that this is a key part of building the relationship with my clients.

Partnering with the business

I work closely with the organisation sponsoring the coaching to ensure that the coaching is relevant and goal driven and not taking place in a silo. I take time to really understand the organisation and the context in which the client is working and this helps me to do the best coaching possible and to continue to partner with organisations. However, client confidentiality is crucial in managing the relationship with the organisation.

Challenge

I challenge my clients to be the best that they can be and am most often described as gently challenging.

Continual learning

It really matters to me that I am top of my game, much as I help those that I coach to be. This means that I invest time and money in continual learning and self- development through reflection, study, CPD, shared learning with colleagues, and bi-monthly coaching supervision sessions where I am able to reflect on my work confidentially and to be challenged

About me

I am British but have always worked in multi-cultural environments and have a love of languages (I studied French and Italian at university). My interest in people and their careers gradually drew me towards coaching from my first career in executive search. I like working with smart people but I am down to earth and pride myself on being humble and able to connect with people of all backgrounds. I love learning and have undertaken significant periods of study every decade with my MSc and then Doctorate and I take other learning seriously (including frequent CPD and regular supervision for my work).
