About me

I am British but have always worked in multi-cultural environments and have a love of languages (I studied French and Italian at university). My interest in people and their careers gradually drew me towards coaching from my first career in executive search and I since have built on the foundations of being a psychology informed coach. I like working with smart people but I am down to earth and pride myself on being humble and able to connect with people of all backgrounds. I love learning and have undertaken periods of study every decade with my MSc and Doctorate and beyond this I take other learning seriously including frequent CPD and regular supervision for my work.

I am married and have 2 mid-late teenage daughters. Apart from being with family and friends, my other love is music and I play the ‘cello in local Symphony and Chamber Orchestras and enjoy supporting music and musicians.

Particular expertise and interest: leadership transitions and confidence

I have always been drawn to issues of confidence amongst high achievers and know how significant the coaching space and support is in helping clients to understand what might be challenging their confidence and how to address this. This interest led me to research challenges to confidence in particular during senior leadership transition and I specialise in working with clients on confidence at this transition point (and sometimes when confidence may not be particularly challenged but the transition point itself causes broader challenges).
